Hint for any plastic Water storage units:

Always air out water container before you use it for the first time, nothing worse than have that plastic odor taste when you need a drink.  I would suggest that you put in 1 to 2 litres of water in the tank, add 3 to 5 drops of vanilla essence in with the water. Seal the cap on and give the unit a swish around the entire storage area. Empty the water out, leave the cap off and air the unit for 24 Hours. You can repeat the process again just to ensure the water doesn’t taste like plastic.
